When this website is accessed, the web server may process technically required connection data. This may include in particular the IP address, date and time of access, requested file, amount of transferred data, browser type and operating system. This processing is carried out to provide the website securely.
The website automatically determines whether day mode or night mode should be displayed based on sunrise and sunset for the fixed webcam location. No additional personal data of the visitor is processed for this purpose.
This website uses a technical visitor counter. For this purpose, a cookie is used so that repeated visits from the same browser within 24 hours are not counted multiple times. The visitor counter is used solely for internal statistical display on the website.
When the guestbook is used, the name, message and time of submission are stored. New entries are not published immediately but are first reviewed manually and displayed publicly only after approval. Already published or pending entries can be managed, approved or deleted in the password-protected admin area.
Current weather data for the webcam location is displayed on the homepage. This data is loaded directly in the visitor’s browser from an external weather service. In this context, technical connection data such as the IP address may be transmitted to the weather service.
The live webcam stream, the timelapse and the embedded drone video on subpages are provided through embedded media content. When these contents are loaded, technical connection data may be processed by external providers. This applies in particular to the webcam and timelapse player.
Map material from OpenStreetMap is loaded on the location page. When the map is displayed, technical connection data may be transmitted to the corresponding map services.
The internal admin area is intended solely for managing the visitor counter and guestbook moderation. It is not intended for public use.
